No question, the 1632 is the best jazz trombone ever. It makes the full spectrum of my range smooth as glass. The balance is impeccable and as a lighter horn, it still puts out a monster sound!

Biography

Born and raised in Iowa, Dana moved to the Chicago area while touring with various big bands in the 80s. After establishing himself in the scene, started his own jazz orchestra in 1992. Dana has appeared on numerous recordings and has played in nearly every state and a dozen different countries. Always in demand as a jazz soloist, a writer/arranger, or even a rock-pop player, while always keeping his hand in music education.
